Highly driven and possess excellent communication and good interpersonal skills.

  • To assist in preparing and submitting Independent Audit report to the Board Audit Committee (BAC) to highlight the assessment on the effectiveness of AML/CFT measures any inadequacy in internal controls and procedures and recommendations for improvement.
  • To assist in checking and testing the compliance with, and effectiveness of the AML/CFT policies procedures and internal controls.
  • To assist Head of Audit to conduct regular review of the adequacy and effectiveness of the AML/CFT policies procedures and internal control system.
  • To assess regularly whether current measures are in the line with the latest developments and changes of the relevant AML/CFT requirements.
  • To perform ad hoc audit, special review and investigation as and when required by the Audit Committee/ Senior Management.
  • To assist in planning, execution and follow-up of internal audit assignments on business operations including compliance of company internal policies and standard operation procedures such as cash management, customer services and security at the branches.
  • To ensure staff compliance with regulatory requirements under AML/CFT and other applicable laws and regulations.
  • To assist Head of Audit to assess the effectiveness of the Compliance program of the Company.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct regular on-site and off-site checks and reviews to ensure that the company’s branches comply with AMLA guidelines issued by BNM and other international monitoring agencies such as OFAC/FATF
  • Review all transactions and daily reports from staff on:
  • Occurrence of suspicious transactions with CDD.
  • CDD & the Documentation of records of customers.
  • Process remittances and ensure transactions comply with local and overseas regulations.
  • Promote company’s services.
  • Perform daily transaction reconciliations.
  • Manage schedules for appointments and deadlines.
  • Keep an organized file system.
  • Keep records of invoices and tax payment
  • Manage company’s liabilities (e.g., insurance)
